WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?

You will need to provide some basic information including your name, date of birth and member ID. This information is used to process your claim. If you do not know what your member ID is, go to your Anthem online or mobile account and select “ID Cards.” Your member ID can be found on your ID card.

WHAT CONDITIONS CAN BE TREATED?

Dentists can address a variety of concerns including tooth and gum pain, inflammation, infection, chipped or broken teeth and more. If you are unsure whether your concern warrants an emergency visit or if it can wait until your dentist is available, your Anthem Dental Virtual Care dentist can help guide care.

WHO CAN USE THE SERVICE?

Anthem members & enrolled dependents who receive insurance through their employer or purchase direct via a public marketplace or through a commercial insurance agent can use Anthem Dental Virtual Care.

Children under the age of 18 can be seen, but a parent or guardian over the age of 18 must be on the video call with the child. *Due to laws governing teledentistry, this program is unavailable to residents of Texas.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

1. Fill out the form beneath this section with your insurance info and click 'Submit'. You will be redirected to the Anthem TeleDentists waiting room.

2. Sign-Up for an account with The TeleDentists (separate from your dental insurance)
3. Returning customers can Log-In

4. You will be prompted to Download the VSEE app

5. Fill out the Medical Questionnaire and a TeleDentist will be with you within 10 minutes
