Dentists can address a variety of concerns including tooth and gum pain, inflammation, infection, chipped or broken teeth and more. If you are unsure whether your concern warrants an emergency visit or if it can wait until your dentist is available, your Cigna Dental Virtual Care dentist can help guide care.
Consultations are $64. We will submit a claim for reimbursement, but we collect your copay in advance.
These visits also don’t count against any frequency limitations on your plan.
This means if your plan allow a maximum of two exams per year, this visit does not count toward that maximum.
*Virtual visits do count toward your annual plan dollar maximum, if applicable.
This means if you have already reached your annual dollar maximum, your claim will be processed accordingly and you may owe for the cost of the exam.
